A mountain with a large area of bushland located in the southeast part of Queensland, Mt Peel sits at 710 meters above sea level. It is roughly 7 kilometers away from the closest city, Toowoomba. The village of Gowrie is about 11 kilometers away.
The Mount Peel Bushland Reserve is very close to Toowoomba. It offers a lot of picturesque views. It consists of beautiful grassland saddled between mountain peaks. The mountain peaks offer an amazing view of Darling Dawns.
The Mount Peel Bushland Reserve is large park occupied by open eucalypt forest. It contains many prickly pear, some wallabies and local wildlife.
Mount Peel is a longer hiking trail than the Table Top Mountain. The climb is however less strenuous. When you reach the peak, you will be greeted by fantastic views. Mount peek Bushland Reserve is at Westminster Street, Drayton and stretches 7 kilometers.
